Context: Demand normalizing above pre-pandemic levels but flagged limited availability of some product categories through the year, with regional variances.
Global shortages of semiconductors and other electronic components will continue to be the biggest issue, hitting primarily the production of cookers and washing machines. Because of many disruptions, the current system can’t come up with the correct data on ocean freight operations around ETAs, demurrage and detention and port dwell time.
