BRINGING TOGETHER LEADERS IN SUPPLY CHAIN

We are putting together a series of small format events (15-20 people) to bring together senior leaders in supply chain.  Networking, sharing challenges and learning from each other. It’s never easy to find the best solution to your operational headaches, but we are building a forum where you can ask for help and receive it.

Some of the issues we want to solve:

  • What is a good way to implement change management?
  • How do you keep your team engaged?
  • What are some of the best tech solutions you recommend?
  • How does a strong supply chain ops foundation look like?
  • When should we prioritize investing in training people or bringing in external experts?

Arvato Executive Networking Dinner

Powered by: Arvato
Date: 05, Devember 2025
Location:
Singapore

Supplify recently hosted an Executive Networking Dinner in Singapore, partnering with the Arvato team to bring industry leaders together for an evening of candid conversation.

Moving past the usual industry buzzwords, the discussion went straight into the real challenges and opportunities facing the logistics sector today. While the conversation covered a broad range of logistics trends, the highlight of the evening was the open exchange regarding technology-focused projects.

Key Takeaways:

  • Practical Application over Hype: It was refreshing to hear practical examples from participating executives on how they are implementing technology.

  • Focus on ROI: The consensus was clear: tech implementation should not be for innovation’s sake alone, but must drive clear, measurable Return on Investment (ROI).

A special thanks to Eric Herman and Frank Debets for their valuable insights. As always, Supplify continues to put its motto into practice: ABC! Always Be Connecting!

Singapore

Supplify recently collaborated with the Digital Container Shipping Association (DCSA) team to facilitate high-level peer-to-peer sharing among top supply chain and logistics executives in Singapore.

At the DCSA+ Leadership Forum, a clear industry shift was visible: the sector is decisively moving away from fragmented, siloed systems and toward shared digital standards.

Key Topics & Takeaways:

  • Resilience via Interoperability: The discussion emphasized that true resilience comes from systems that can talk to one another, rather than standalone solutions.

  • Accelerating eBL Adoption: A major focus remained on the push for electronic Bills of Lading (eBL), with stakeholders aligning on how to speed up adoption to meet industry targets.

  • Defining Digital Trade for 2026: The forum provided a unique opportunity for carriers, shippers, ports, forwarders, and technology providers to align on priorities.

This strategic alignment is set to shape the digital roadmap for 2026 and beyond, ensuring that the next chapter of global trade is defined by collaboration rather than isolation.

Transporeon Summit 2025

Date: 25, September 2025
Location:
Amsterdam, Netherlands

Supplify was proud to collaborate with the Transporeon Summit 2025 team to curate high-level discussions on the future of technology in logistics.

The team had the privilege of organizing the Executive Roundtable on the impact of AI in Transportation, featuring top minds in the space including Adrian Gonzalez, Adrien Garcia, Philipp Pfister, and Jonah McIntire. Additionally, Supplify took to the main stage for a panel discussion on “The Future AI Manager,” joining industry leaders Patrick Weikle, Richard van Hooijdonk, and Tim Ludwicki.

A Critical Takeaway: Amidst the excitement surrounding AI and Agentic AI, one lesson stood out: The importance of asking the right questions.

Like any tool, AI’s effectiveness depends entirely on understanding the specific problem at hand and recognizing current limitations. It is not about using the newest tech for the sake of it, but about finding the best tool for the job.

A sincere thank you to the organizing team—Nicki Schwaegerl, Paulo Locali, and Farah Nagdalieva—for delivering such a rich learning and networking experience.

Unlocking Value with Agentic AI in Freight & Logistics

Powered by: Tetrixx Pte. L.t.d.

Date: 24, June 2025
Location:
Paris, France

The Supplify team recently gathered in Paris for an executive roundtable focused on the future of supply chain and logistics. The consensus was clear: the future isn’t just digital—it is intelligent, autonomous, and data-driven.

Partnering with Tetrixx (Arnaud Rastoul and Emilie Annweiler), the session highlighted the power of their AI Agent, “Freya.” Attendees heard firsthand from clients Fabrice Thomas (UCT) and Francois Gruau (Valeo), who are already seeing strong ROI from leveraging this technology.

Key Learnings from the Session:

  • Hidden Value in Invoices: Invoices are more than bills; they are untapped goldmines of operational intelligence.

  • The Cost of Silence: Freight overbilling often accounts for 2–6% of costs, leading to millions in silent losses.

  • Rapid Recovery: Agentic AI like Freya can recover significant costs in weeks (e.g., $95K in just 30 days).

  • Competitive Imperatives: Predictive freight planning, ESG tracking, and end-to-end visibility are no longer optional.

The Human Element of AI Adoption While the technology is ready, a crucial question remains: Are teams ready? Too many AI initiatives stall not because the tools fail, but due to a lack of team alignment and shaky data foundations. The discussion emphasized that organizations must start with a data audit, ensure cross-functional buy-in, and treat change management as a core pillar.

The organizations winning today are those testing, learning, and adapting. AI won’t replace teams, but teams using AI will outperform those who don’t.

Building the Ocean Freight Control Tower of the Future

Case Study: Nestlé
Powered by: Cargoo

Date: 29, May 2025
Location:
 Munich, Germany

Supplify recently gathered in Munich for another executive roundtable, partnering with the team at Cargoo to bring together some of the sharpest minds in the industry.

The session featured a compelling case study from Nestlé on the successful implementation of an ocean freight control tower. Giuseppe Santisi shared valuable insights into Nestlé’s journey toward supply chain excellence and how their collaboration with Cargoo facilitated that progress.

Key Takeaways from the Discussion:

  • The Power of Peer Exchange: Gathering brilliant executive minds in one room proves that collective intelligence is unbeatable. This roundtable went beyond standard networking; it served as a powerful reminder that bouncing ideas off peers is essential. It is in these exchanges that real ‘aha!’ moments happen, providing clarity amidst the daily chaos of supply chain management.

  • Build With Your Client, Not Just For Them: Nestlé’s journey with Cargoo delivered a clear message: do not build solutions in a vacuum. Working hand-in-glove with clients isn’t just “good practice”—it is the secret sauce to creating something genuinely useful. Listening to the people who will actually use the product ensures success.

  • Digital Transformation Order of Operations: The discussion highlighted a critical rule that many overlook: Digital transformation must focus on People, Process, and then Technology. In that specific order. Without this hierarchy, organizations risk simply throwing money at a screen without solving the underlying challenges.

Supplify is proud to facilitate these conversations and looks forward to continuing the dialogue at future events.

Supplify recently partnered with Anaplan to host a roundtable event in Singapore, bringing the supply chain community together to explore the true capabilities of today’s technology.

The session focused on the critical topic of “Mastering AI-Driven Scenario Planning.” The goal of these Supplify forums is always to cut through the noise and facilitate honest, practical conversations. With Radu Palamariu moderating, the event featured excellent insights and sharing from industry leaders Amit Bagga, Ramna Viswanathan, and Harsha Illindala.

Key Takeaways from the Discussion:

The conversation highlighted that supply chain leaders are feeling pressure from all sides. Whether navigating shifting tariffs, dealing with geopolitical tensions, or trying to make sense of the latest AI-driven planning tools, the challenges are complex.

It became clear during the session that many executives are facing hurdles regarding End-to-End (E2E) planning. The reality of the current landscape requires leaders to balance three difficult tasks simultaneously:

  • Integrating new technology.

  • Managing organizational change.

  • Demonstrating a clear ROI.

Supplify remains committed to bringing the community together to share wisdom and navigate these challenges collectively. Watch this space for upcoming events.

How do you truly measure the success of an industry event? Is it the number of attendees? The survey scores? Or perhaps the operational efficiency?

Recently, discussions with industry executives have highlighted a different perspective. While Supplify values feedback forms and satisfaction scores, there is a metric that matters even more: the genuine smiles and energy in the room.

From the Makers & Movers forums to intimate roundtables and partner events, one thing has become abundantly clear: today’s executives are craving authenticity and connection at a deeper level.

Of course, top-notch topics, high-value content, and seamless logistics are the baseline requirements. However, the real magic happens when a space is created where participants feel they are part of a true community of like-minded peers.

It is in this environment—surrounded by over 100+ Value Chain Executives and C-Level leaders—that people feel safe to share, learn, and embrace their business challenges with honesty.

The energy in Amsterdam was undeniable for the 8th Arvato Supply Chain Masterclass. Moderating this incredible event for the second time, it is clear that the quality of discourse and community only continues to grow.

A massive acknowledgement goes to the Arvato team for a flawless execution. Special thanks to the hosting team for the invitation to build bridges together, and to the organizers for their rigorous attention to detail.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the Capital C rooftop, the event sparked serious, insightful conversations. A central theme emerged: the importance of investing in Human Intelligence and Connection just as aggressively as the industry invests in AI.

Key Takeaways from the Discussion:

Agility & Resilience:
Building a robust supply chain isn’t just about systems; it is about embracing bold thinking and staying adaptable. The organizations that thrive in chaos are the ones willing to be flexible.

Balancing Flexibility & Scale: Success lies in finding that “sweet spot” between being quick to pivot and building sustainable growth—a crucial skill for handling modern disruptions.

Rethinking the Status Quo: Innovation never comes from sticking to the old ways. It requires embracing fresh ideas, new strategies, and emerging technologies.

Thank you to the inspiring speakers, the engaged attendees, and the rockstar organizing team for making this Masterclass a memorable experience. Supplify looks forward to the next one!
